11/2/18 - Courtney Madia HCCC Letter of Intent Signing

Frankfort-Schuyler soccer player Courtney Madia will be playing at the collegiate level in 2019-20, and made her future plans official by signing a letter of intent with Herkimer College on November 2.

Madia, a forward for the Maroon Knights, scored 14 goals as a senior and 46 in her varsity career. She also plans to run track at Herkimer; a two-time Center State Conference Division II 400-meter champion, she holds Frankfort-Schuyler’s school record for that event.

The Herkimer College Women’s Soccer team is a NJCAA Division III team that participates in the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference. For three of the past four years, the Herkimer Generals athletic program has won the National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup, ranking Herkimer first in the nation among non-scholarship two-year athletic programs, based on national championship competition.
